Apple and Cherry Crumble
Filling:
Place the peeled and sliced apples in with the cherry pie filling into a bowl and leave to one side for the moment.
Crumble:
Place the flour, brown sugar, rolled oats, , cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a large bowl. Using your fingers rub the cubed butter in with the dry ingredients until it resembles bread crumbs. Sprinkle over apples and cherry pie filling.
Apple and Cherry Crumble:
Spoon the fruit filling into a large baking tray and then sprinkle the crumble mix on top of this. Make sure the crumble topping completely covers the apple and cherry mixture.
Bake the crumble in the preheated oven for between 30 and 40 minutes until the topping is slightly browned and crisp.
Serve with Ice Cream or lashing of custard.

Filling
Peel and slice 1.5 pounds of Granny Smith apples. Make the slices about centimeter thick
600 grams 1 can cherry pie filling
Crumble
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter, cold and cut into cubes
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
